Website development policy
Introduction
This document outlines the requirements and expectations for your engaging in website development services. The aim is to ensure a smooth and efficient development process, resulting in a high-quality website that meets your needs and objectives.
Your Responsibilities
Initial Consultation and Briefing
- Project Scope: You as a client must provide a detailed description of the project scope, including the purpose of the website, target audience, key functionalities, and any specific design preferences.
- Objectives: Clear articulation of the goals and objectives of the website (e.g., brand awareness, lead generation, e-commerce).
Terms & conditions
- After the initial meeting on phone call or in person, the quotation will be sent to the client by email or WhatsApp.
- Acceptance of the quotation means you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of atulsite.in
- The actual work of website development will start after receiving 50% of the quoted amount.
- Client (you) must provide the data for the website which I am going to design for you.
Data I need:
Text – Information about your business or service or services in text format, you can send it in plain text format like .txt or in Microsoft Words format or in pdf format. If you are coping data from any resource, you must get the consent of the owner, before giving it to me.
You should supply all text content, including but not limited to:- Homepage introduction
- About Us section
- Product/Service descriptions
- Blog posts or articles
- Contact information
Images – Images (in any format) of your business or service or services or any image require to make website, should be provided by client (you) before actual work start. If you wish to buy any stock images (in any format) from any source like Adobe stock, Sutterstock etc. and want to use it within your website, you must share the website link from where you purchased the image or images. I am not liable of any legal aspect regarding images you provide.
All images should be high-resolution images and graphics relevant to the website content. These can include:- Logos and branding materials
- Product photos
- Team photos
- Stock images (with appropriate licenses)
Video – If you want to use video or videos within your website which is/are created by you or created for you by hiring professional videographer then, it will have no issues. But if you copy any video from any resource, you must get the consent of the owner, before giving it to me. If anyone files copyright claim against the website, I am not liable for any legal aspect regarding the copyright claim.
Additional Costs
Explanation of any additional costs that may arise during the project, such as for premium plugins, stock images, or third-party services.- I never design demo website or website theme first. You (client) should provide all the necessary material at the beginning of the website creation.
- All the data like, information, images, videos, creatives etc. should be maintain by you (client). You (client) should have backup of all the data we are using in your website. I am not liable for any data loss.
- Recurring charges like, domain renewal, hosting renewal, plugin purchase or renewal etc. are not consider in quotation. You (client) must ask for any upgrade charges or update charges or renew charges, time to time.
- Once website creation is finish, the charges may apply for any changes in website.
- Any further assistance needed will become a paid service. I will provide the charges detail.
Acknowledgment
By engaging in website development services, the client (you) agrees to provide the necessary materials and adhere to the outlined responsibilities to facilitate a smooth development process.
